The reason for the reduction is that pupil numbers across the school vary. Only pupil numbers in the current year 1 and 2 are near a 3 form entry (i.e. 90 pupils). All other year groups are below 2 forms and some are significantly below. Other schools close to Woodside are also not full. The Local Authority (LA) have supported a local agreement cap for some year groups at 60 indicating their support.  Formally reducing the PAN will provide the school with greater certainty and allow the school to plan most effectively.

There are no other material changes to our proposed arrangements, so although the full draft document is included for completeness, we are not seeking feedback on any other aspect of these arrangements.
